When trying to get ahead in life, we’re often distracted by flashy solutions and shiny objects. We try anything and everything at once, accomplishing nothing.
If you’re ever considering which path to take in order to maximize your potential, use the following rule of thumb – take the action that’s less sexy.
Focus on the “one thing” and eliminate the unnecessary distractions. Your consistency might yield little reward at first, but if you keep at it, your rate of progress will become exponential.
Keep it simple.
Do the one thing.
Do it better than anyone else.
