We should never let the throes of rejection define who we become.
Most people let rejection put an end to their pursuit of greatness, not realising the fact that rejection does NOT prevent success – fear of rejection does.
Staring in the face of truth is painful, but it is a cost we have to pay if we are to evolve into something greater.
Moreover, the fear of rejection is irrational, simply because you have nothing to lose.
Want to apply for that new, fancy job? Go for it! If they hire you, you win. If they don’t, you receive feedback. If you have feedback, you’ll be able to go back to the drawing board, make the adjustments necessary and go at it again.
The point is, you become smarter. You gain experience.
