If change is an opportunity, reinventing oneself is art.
Whenever we feel like we’re doing the most we can but results just aren’t coming our way, we need to self-reflect. We can work hard on achieving our goals, but if the landscape changes, so must we. The truth of the matter is, those who work hardest don’t always win.
Those who are willing to adapt, learn and grow from the pain, do.
Change is hard. Why? Because you are both the sculpture and the sculptor. It’s still a better alternative than swimming against the tides.
If you feel stuck in life, take a step back and see yourself outside yourself. Look at yourself as a work of art, always in progress. There’s no need to get upset or be too harsh on yourself — instead, like an artist, get back to work. Make the changes necessary in order to bring your masterpiece one step closer to perfection.
Forge your new identity and go at it again, whatever it is you’d like to achieve.
